Don Pritchard

Don Pritchard, 61, of Asheboro, died Sunday, August 9, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. L.D. Pritchard and Roger Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow at Huldah Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Pritchard was born April 18, 1954. With dreams of being a bush pilot, he received his pilot license in 1996 and loved anything to do with airplanes and flying. Mr. Pritchard enjoyed working on his 1966 Ford F100 truck, being a pawpaw and spending time with his family. He worked for Energizer for 41 years. He was proceeded in death by his father, Cletus Truman Pritchard and a sister, Kimberly Dawn Pritchard. Mr. Pritchard is survived by his daughter, Marissa Danielle Graham Pritchard of Asheboro; mother, Dixie Lovell Pritchard of Asheboro; sister, Gwen Pritchard Richardson of Seagove; and granddaughter, Mckayla Harrelson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, Dixie Pritchard.
