Don Miller

Donnie Ricker Miller, Sr., 70, of Troy, died Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Faircloth and Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors presented by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Born August 1, 1947 in Moultrie, GA, Mr. Miller was the son of the late George and Margarite Miller. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Mr. Miller retired from Siemens and then later retired from Randolph County School System. He enjoyed his tractor and riding his motorcycle. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the US Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, J.D. Massey. Survivors include his wife, Pat Miller of the home; sons, Donnie Miller and wife, Tami of Troy, Jonathan Miller and Christopher Jolly, both of the home; sister, Carla Hayes and husband, Ray of Georgia; brothers, Lorne Miller and George Miller, both of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Colton Miller (Carrie), Stetson Miller, Kourtlyn Miller, Blaise Miller; and great-granddaughter, Pailyn Miller. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
