Don R. Goins

Mr. Donald Ravon Goins, Jr., 53, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, July 22, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, Randleman, with Pastor Dana Bunn officiating. Burial will follow at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Goins was born November 15, 1957. He was the son of the late Donald Ravon Goins and Dolores Burnette King Goins. He was the owner of DG Motorsports. He enjoyed motor sports and refurbishing old cars. Mr. Goins is survived by his daughter, Ivey Goins, and sister, Kandie Pickard, of Randleman, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
