Don Cox

Donald "Don" Stanton Cox, 65, of Asheboro, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Arnold Luther officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Cox was born December 4, 1950. He had worked for the NC Department of Corrections and was an avid Tarheel basketball fan. Mr. Cox enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanton Cox; and a sister, Jenny Cox. Mr. Cox is survived by his daughters, Dana Jarrett and husband, Jeff, of Randleman, Tara Greeson and husband, Matthew, of Climax; mother, Helen Dunn of Asheboro; brother, Ken Cox of Asheboro; grandchildren, Macy Jarrett, Megan Jarrett, Justin Jarrett, Jobe Jarrett, Jace Jarrett, Abby Greeson, Samuel Greeson and Silas Greeson.
