Diane Starbuck Crocker

Diane Starbuck Croker, 62, of Asheboro, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Mountain of Faith Christian Church with Pastor John Bryant and Rev. Joe Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Diane was born on August 13, 1953 in Denton, NC. She was a wonderful person in the truest sense of the phrase. Diane loved people. One of her greatest pleasures was to make and give things to others. Diane had many interests, her favorite being having gathering at her house for family and friends. She loved to sew, read, watch movies, and was a true John Wayne fan. She was a member of Mountain of Faith Christian Church and a member of the Ladies Fellowship Group, where she served as Secretary. Diane loved the Lord and her church family. She retired from Klaussner Furniture, where she worked fro 32 years. She completed her years there working in Customer Service. Surviving are her loving husband of 44 years, Ricky; mother and father, Ruby and Jesse Priddy; sisters, Pamela Starbuck Cox and husband, Chuck, Tana Keenan and husband, Brian; brother, Dennis Priddy and many close family and friends. She loved and had a special bond with all her nieces, nephews and cousins; Jessica Keenan, Robert Keenan, Kim Lackey, Amelia and Jessie, Chris Priddy, Brandon Hopkins, Kayleigh and Kacen, Duree Auman, Cade and Jace, Corrie Barnes, Lawson and Tyler. She never missed a birthday or any chance to show her family she loved them. She also spent many hours with her devoted dog, Deacon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mountain of Faith Christian Church, Benevolence Fund, 1895 Mountain of Faith Road, Asheboro, NC 27205. Special thanks and love go out to her best friend, Susan Lundy and husband, Lloyd. She was always a friend she could count on. Also the family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. McCarty, the Randolph Cancer Center, and the nursing staff at Randolph Hospital.
