Destany Jane Brown, 16, of Ramseur, died Monday, November 16, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born May 9, 1999 in Yuma, AZ, Destiny loved dancing, singing, listening to music and playing basketball with her brother, Aaron. She had a generous loving heart and always wore a beautiful smile. Survivors include her parents Karen and Travis Brown of the home; sisters, Ashley Wrenn Martin of Asheboro, Jody Wrenn, Stormi Brown, and Annah Grace Brown, all of the home; brothers, Aaron Brown and Nicolas Brown, both of the home; grandparents, Thomas Brown, Ruby Brown, both of Yuma, AZ, Ann Rosenthal of Archdale; and great-grandparents, Nick and Cruz Savinon. She is also survived by her, aunts and uncles, Leeann Ozanich, Jason Brown and Robert "Bobby" and Annmarie Alston; and several cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home.
