David Spivey

Larry David Spivey, 61, of Seagrove, died Monday, April 18, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 963 Burney Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205. Born October 11, 1954 in Randolph County, Mr. Spivey was the son of the late Clinton and Annie Spivey. He was the owner/operator of Spivey Automotive for 31 years. Mr. Spivey was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family. He was raised in a loving family and was very faithful to his religion as a Jehovah's Witness. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Morgan; and a brother, William Spivey. Mr. Spivey is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patsy Hussey Spivey, of the home; , daughter, Ester Alice Freeman of Seagrove; sons, Johnny Robert Spivey and wife, Yanet, of Seagrove, Clinton David Spivey and wife, Jeannette, of Trinity; brothers, Bob Spivey and wife, Rita, of Mt. Gilead, Darrell Spivey of Seagrove, Doug Spivey and wife, Priscilla, of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Alaina Spivey, Colby Freeman, Camdyn Freeman, Jonathan Spivey, Jana Spivey and Morgan Spivey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
