David K. Burrow

Mr. David Kinney Burrow, 88, of Ramseur, NC, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Universal Healthcare, Ramseur, NC. A graveside service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2011, at Franklinville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Burrow was born May 27, 1922. He was the son of the late William Luther Burrow and Bessie Kinney Burrow. He enjoyed playing the harmonica. Mr. Burrow served in the US Navy during World War II. In addition to his parents, Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Burrow, and brother, Cletus "Doc"� Burrow. Mr. Burrow is survived by his daughter, Lucinda "Cookie" Nance, of West Covina, CA; brother, Maurice T. Burrow, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Jimmy Nance, of West Covina, CA, Christina Nance, of West Covina, CA, Laura Guzman, of Boulder City, CO; great grandchildren, Nicholas Nance, Daniel Guzman and Thomas Guzman. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm Monday, March 14, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
