David Jarvis

David Conrad Jarvis, 65, of Asheboro, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026. at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, 908 Albemarle Road, Asheboro.

David was born on January 6, 1961 in Winston-Salem, NC. David loved grilling for his family and friends and listening to all kinds of music. He was an avid Oklahoma University sports fans, especially softball and football. David never met a stranger and could make friends with anyone. He continually showed his love by his actions.

He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Jarvis; mother, Patsy Hutcherson Love; and stepfather, Jim Love.

Surviving are his wife of 12 years, Cindy Jarvis; sons, Chad Jarvis (Kristen), Troy Jarvis (Aleighsa Hager), Sam Jarvis (Dayna Jo Crater); daughters; Mary Funez (Darlin), Sam William (Michael), Jessica Crum; brother, Rick Jarvis (Ann Chassee); sisters, Sarah Jarvis (Harold Birdyshaw), Vickie Forrest (Charles); grandchildren, AnnaRose Crum, AmiraRhae Crum, Kamryn Jarvis, Parker Jarvis, Honey Funez, Violet Funez; and his favorite puppy companions, Shadow, Bella and Opie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home.
