David Michael Goad

Mr. David Michael Goad, 47, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Boyd Byerly officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mr. Goad was born June 11, 1964. He was the son of Doris Marie Coble Marshall, of Asheboro, and the late Luther Washington Goad. He worked for SAPA in Greensboro, NC for 18 years and for SMX Energizer. He loved working on Mission Trips and doing things for others in need. Mr. Goad, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Zara Carol Goad, of the home; daughter, Victoria Brooke Goad, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Andrew Michael Goad and wife, Haleigh, of Level Cross, NC, Jimmy Anderson Ingram, III, of Halifax, VA, Gregory Brant Cox, Jr., of Michigan; sisters, Benita Bryant and husband, Jack, of Galax, VA, Loretta Cassady and husband, Tim, of Ararat, VA; brothers, Paul Marshall and wife, Cindy, of Battle Creek, MI, Ricky Marshall and wife, Breatice, of Ararat, VA; two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
