David Lee Cartrette

Mr. David Lee Cartrette, Jr., 55, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2012, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery in High Point. A native of Butler County, MO, Mr. Cartrette was born April 23, 1957. He was the son of David Lee Cartrette Sr. and Pearl Christine Yeley Cartrette. He worked for Hardin's Wholesale Florist Supply. Mr. Cartrette was a simple man and enjoyed life. He loved to cook and loved his family, especially his grandson. He was preceded in death by brother, William Cartrette. Mr. Cartrette, in addition to his parents, is survived by his wife, Brenda C. Cartrette; daughter, Emily C. Dalton, of Leland, NC; sister, Henrietta C. Voight, of York, SC; brothers, Jerry Cartrette, of Potosi, MO, Phillip Cartrette, of Lowell, NC; grandson, David Lee Dotson. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home.
