Darwin Dwight Mabe

Darwin Dwight Mabe, 67, of 191 Phelps Lane, Chesterfield, SC, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at his home. Graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Charles Reeder officiating. Born October 17, 1942, in Randolph County, NC, Mr. Mabe was the son of the late Verdelle and Lucy Mabe. He served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mabe was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Mabe and his granddaughter, Angel Mabe. Surviving are his sons, Tim Starling, of Chesterfield, SC, Todd Mabe, of Cheraw, SC, Duane Mabe, of Chesterfield, SC, and grandchildren, Skyler Mabe and Aden Mabe. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 2:00 until 3:30 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2010.
