Daniel Wayne Thompson, 68, of Randleman, NC, died Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence. No services are scheduled at this time. Mr. Thompson was born July 8, 1951, in Princeton, WV, the son of the late Blaine and Edith Thompson. Daniel retired from the City of Greensboro. He served as a medic during the Vietnam War and was stationed out of Camp Lejeune. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his uncles, Larry Thompson and Leon Thompson; sisters, Glenda Anouilh and Dorothy (Dottie) Dart; and a granddaughter, Tensly Andrews. Daniel is survived by his wife, Deborah Thompson, of the home; daughters, Diana Spencer of Martinsville, Anna Marie Andrews and fiancé Cory Beasley, of Siler City; son, Brian Daniel Thompson and wife, Maggie, of Charlotte; sister, Debbie Boyd, of Bassett VA; step son, Dusty Phillips Jr., of the home; grandchildren, Alexis and Wesley Thompson, of the home, Kylie Andrews, Toby Andrews, Levi Andrews and Kaydence Andrews, all of Siler City., brother in law, John Anouilh, of Martinsville VA; a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles and many friends. In lieu of flowers memorials have been asked to be made to the family c/o Deborah Thompson, 618 E. Brown Street, Randleman, NC 27317.
