Daniel Wayne Luther, 32, of Asheboro, died Friday, November 22, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove, with Pastor Bryan Maness, Pastor Gerald Ward, and Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Daniel was born on December 15, 1986 in Randolph Co., NC. He enjoyed the outdoors including spending his time riding bikes, hiking, fishing, and some indoor rock climbing. He enjoyed raising goats, chickens and was a beekeeper. Music was his passion. He was a talented mandolin player, guitarist, drummer, and singer, and a member of the Long Gone Bluegrass Band. Daniel was a member of Antioch Christian Church, where he served as an usher, a Sunday school teacher, and senior youth leader. He was a very special father, husband, and son. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Garry Wayne Luther. Surviving are his wife, Ashley Luther of the home; son, Silas Luther of the home; mother, Cathy Luther of Asheboro; brother, Jeremy Ingold and wife Stefanie of Asheboro; parents-in-law, Angela and Junior McMasters of Asheboro; brother-in-law, Andrew McMasters and wife Brittini of Randleman; sister-in-law, Amy McMasters of Asheboro; nieces and nephews, Jake Crotts, Amber Ingold, Jaxson McMasters, Isabella McMasters; grandparents-in-law, Barry and Carol Scott; great grandparent-in-law, Ruth Scott; "four legged son", Dozer Wayne Luther; and many special aunts, uncle, cousins, and extended family. Daniel was proud to be an organ donor, and would be pleased to know he went on to save many lives. Memorials may be made to Antioch Christian Church, 5789 Antioch Church Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341.
