Daisy Cheek Shoffner

Daisy Catherine Spinks Shoffner, 68, of Ramseur, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Cone Health Green Valley Hospital in Greensboro. A private graveside service will be held on August 16, 2020, at Oakland-McCrary Cemetery with Rev. A. W. Waddell officiating. Daisy was born on September 24, 1951, in Randolph Co., to the late Cloyd Benjamin Spinks and Myrtle Lee Siler Spinks. Daisy had worked at Ramseur Interlock, and she was an outstanding mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Daisy loved her kids and friends. She liked to travel and hang out with her girls. Daisy was a member of the ECA Club. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Spinks and wife Lavern of Greensboro, Elizabeth Spinks of New York, Tyrone Cheek and wife Jackie of Asheboro; siblings, Cloyd "Ed" Spinks of Liberty, Martha Matthews of Franklinville; grandchildren, Daisy Marshall, Crystal Brower, Amber Spinks, Kendra Spinks, Tyler Cheek, Franklin Goodwine, Destiny Cheek; great grandchildren, Elijah Sanders, Alexis Marshall, Karter Spinks, Khari Cheek.
