Cynthia Laursen

Cynthia Jean Little Laursen, 64, of Asheboro, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cynthia was born on May 1, 1957, in Peoria, IL. She had worked as a nurse all of her career in nursing homes. She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Lester Laursen, Sr.; daughter, Amy Purdue; son, Nicolas Purdue; stepdaughters, Lisa Owieny, Robin White; stepson, Lester Laursen, Jr.; sister, Marietta Sodowski; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to her favorite charity, Randolph SPCA, 300 W. Bailey Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
