Connie Robbins Hulin, 89, of Asheboro, died Sunday, June 19 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Hill Church of God in Troy. Born May 17, 1927 in Montgomery County, Mrs. Hulin was the daughter of the late Ervin and Neily Robbins. She attended Bible Holiness Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir. Mrs. Hulin enjoyed gardening and sewing. She retired from Klaussner Furniture in 1992 and prior to that she had worked at Becky's of Asheboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jonah Hudson; sisters, Alma Wilkerson, Nellie Wooten, Merlene Dorsett and Mabel Little; and brother, Clark Robbins. Mrs. Hulin is survived by her daughter, Sarah Hulin Cano and husband, Jaime of Asheboro; son, Louis Edward Hudson of Asheboro; brother, Paige Robbins and wife, Linda of Asheboro; grandchildren, Todd Hudson and wife, Olga of Texas, Shelby Baker and Terri Baker, both of Asheboro; great-grandchildren, Sierra Hudson and Diego Hudson, both of Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home.
