Connie Joy Childers

Mrs. Connie Joy Isom Childers, 34, of Trinity, NC, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, February 18, 2013, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Childers was born February 16, 1978. She had attended Southwestern Randolph High School and was a homemaker. She was a supporter of the American Heart Association. Connie was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Childers is survived by her husband, Matthew Childers, of the home; children, Megan Pierce, Daniel Scott, Steven Childers, Vinson Childers, all of the home; parents, Pete and Penny Isom, of Asheboro; brother, Lee Isom and wife, Kathy, of Asheboro, NC; grandparents, Jack and Betty Miller, of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday, February 18, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her parents, Pete and Penny Isom.
