Colleen S. Apple

Mrs. Colleen Frances Snider Apple, 84, of Denton, NC, died Sunday, October 30, 2011, at The Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Tom's Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Gene Hogan, Pastor Jeff Lamb and Pastor Daniel Little officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Apple was born September 3, 1927. She was the daughter the late Walter and Mary Trotter Snider. She was a member of Farmer Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Apple was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edgar Apple. Mrs. Apple is survived by her daughters, Paula Apple, Diane Cook, both of Denton, NC; son, Neil Apple, and wife Rita, of Little River, SC; grandchildren, Danny Cook, Chris Cook, both of Denton, NC, Jessica Apple, of Little River, SC, Monica Yantin, of Longs, SC; great grandchildren, Dalton Yantin, Logan Yantin, Jaydon Yantin, all of Longs, SC; brothers, Dewey Snider, Jack Snider, Eugene Snider, Clyatt Snider; sisters, Nancy Snider and Rachel Adams. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Tom's Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
