Cody Hurley

Cody Randall Hurley, 32, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at New Hope Memorial Gardens, Asheboro, with Pastor Mark Wilburn officiating.

Cody was born in Guilford County, NC, on December 29, 1993. A truly loving, good person, Cody had a tender heart with a kind and generous soul. His huge sense of humor made him a delight to be with. He always could come up with a joke. In addition to his comedy, Cody was very skilled. Working with his hands, fixing things, and working on cars came easy to him. His talents extended to drawing and signing.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. Red Hurley.

Survivors include his father, Randy Hurley of Asheboro; mother, Sheila Hurley Aleman of Asheboro; brother, Bryce Jennings of Asheboro; sister, Lakelee Hurley of Biscoe; grandparents, Gail Hurley, Minerva and Donald York; aunts, Sherry Howell, Rosa Craven; uncles, Billy Hurley, Rusty Hurley; niece, Harper Jennings; and several great aunts, great uncles, and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his father.
