Clinton Howard Cole, 75, passed away at his home on August 25, 2024.
Clinton was born in Asheboro to the late Zannie Bane Cole and Ila Mae Freeman Cole on January 24, 1949. He worked as a long haul truck driver for 35 years at Vick and Mack Truck Repair where it is estimated he had driven over one million miles. He was a dawdaw to Brian, a poppy to Thomas, and an Ollie to Linda's Stanley. He was a loving father-in-law, a great friend, and a spectacular dad. He loved hunting and loved farming and took great pride in his garden. He enjoyed using his creativity while he was working on projects.
Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Phillip Clinton Cole, sisters, Juanita Ellis, Elsie Mae Cole Hogan, and Maxine Yates, brothers, Norman Michael Cole, and Lester Zannie Cole.
Clinton is survived by his loving wife of the home, Linda Ann Cole, daughter, Dennette Lilly (Rex) of Seagrove, son, Jason Cole (Amber) of Ramsuer, sister, Catherlene Hunt, grandsons, Brian Cole-Lilly, and Thomas Lilly, and fur baby, Sammy Cole.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Ridge Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southwestern Randolph High School FFA Program, 1641 Hopewell Friends Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
