Clementine M. Hill

Mrs. Clementine Louise Monroe Hill, 82, of Trinity, NC, died Sunday, April 17, 2011, at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 22, 2011, at Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting with the Rev. Randy Quate, the Rev. James Capps and the Rev. Brian Donley officiating. Burial will follow in the meeting cemetery. A native of Guilford County, NC, Mrs. Hill was born January 18, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Millard Curtis Monroe and Minnie Margaret Lassiter Monroe. She was a homemaker and an active and faithful member of Poplar Ridge Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Clark. Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband, Bobby Hill, of the home; son, John C. Harrell, Jr., and wife, Pam, of Eddy, TX; daughters, Janet H. Dow and husband, Louis, of Trinity, NC, Carolyn Hill-Fotouhi and husband, Nader, of Ringoes, NJ, MaryLynn H. Fancher, of Plano, TX; special friends, Mary Fulk, Sue Stroud, Ronda Underwood, Linda McGinn; sisters, Vera Stanley, of Trinity, NC, Fairlee Webb and husband, Jerry, of Lexington, NC; brothers, Leon Monroe and wife, Cindy, of Clemmons, NC, Harold Monroe and wife, Susie, of Trinity, NC, Edwin Monroe and wife, Pat, of Lexington, NC, Kenneth Monroe and wife, Irene, Wayne Monroe and wife, Brenda, Charles Monroe and wife, Brenda, all of Trinity, NC; brother-in-law, Charles Clark, of Trinity, NC; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
