Cleadell McNeill Williamson, age 85, of Seagrove, NC, died peacefully June 29, 2010, at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Friday, July 2, 2010, at Victory Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born on January 29, 1925, in Moore County, NC, Mrs. Williamson was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison McNeill and Flossie Williamson McNeill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Floyd W. Williamson, her daughter, Wanda W. Lewis, her sister, Rona M. Brown, and her brothers, Harvey McNeill, Dewey McNeill, Lloyd McNeill, and Herman McNeill. Mrs. Williamson's nature was one of quiet service and devotion to family and church, but she also had a quick wit and many talents. She sang tenor in women's trios and church choirs most of her life, having been the granddaughter of a "shaped notes"� music teacher, John Williamson. Mrs. Williamson's sewing skills provided beloved clothing and gifts for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including numerous graduation quilts. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Wiggins and husband, Aubrey, of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Gary (Jay) Lewis and wife, Kelly, of Seagrove, Carrie Lewis McNeill and husband, Chris, of Seagrove, Jona Wiggins Kimbrough and husband, Greg, of Greeley, CO, Neil Wiggins, of Raleigh; and her twin great-grandsons, Caleb and Ethan Kimbrough, of Greely, CO. She is also survived by her sisters, Myrtle Brewer, of Seagrove, Rachel Bouldin, of Asheboro, Clara Mae Cox, of Seagrove, Viola Hayes, of Seagrove, Betty Maness, of Seagrove; and one brother, Roy McNeill, also of Seagrove. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010, and other times at the home. Friends may call at Ridge Funeral Home from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, July, 1, 2010.
