Clarice Needham Hunt, 75, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Mountain View Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Hauk and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Moore County, Mrs. Hunt was born October 23, 1939 to the late Lewis and Rosa McCray Needham. She was an active member of Mountain View Independent Methodist Church and was secretary/treasurer of Hunt's Auto Parts Inc. Mrs. Hunt enjoyed traveling to the coast, to the mountains and fishing. Mrs. Hunt is survived by her husband, Charles L. Hunt of the home; son, Charles Michael Hunt and wife, Brenda of Asheboro; sister, Dorothy Moore and husband, Vernon of Greensboro; grandchildren, Rebecca Bell and husband, Cody, Landon Hunt, Joshua Chaney, Jonathan Chaney; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Peyton, Kylie, A.J.; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
