Clarence "Mack" William McCauslin, 86, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2018, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gary Mason officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born on September 24, 1931, in Mercer County, PA, Mr. McCauslin was the son of the late Edward McCauslin and Myrtle Van Meter McCauslin. He served in the US Army during the Korean war and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1994. Mr. McCauslin was a member of Balfour Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail McCauslin, son, David McCauslin, and 13 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his daughter, Donna M. Lewis; daughter-in-law, Jill McCauslin; grandchildren, Christopher Lewis, Shannon Lewis, Nicholas McCauslin; caregivers, Joe Kearns, Toppy Kearns, Steve Hedgepeth; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday, prior to the service, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Balfour Baptist Church, 1642 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
