Clarence "Blue" Davidson

Clarence Lee Davidson, 70, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 4, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Fonner officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro Mr. Davidson was born in Randolph County, NC, on May 13, 1944. He was the son of the late Clarence Fred Davidson and Rebecca Pritchard Davidson. He retired from Klaussner Furniture and he enjoyed playing golf. Surviving are his daughters, Sandra Rush, of Liberty, Melonia Stockner, of West Palm Beach FL; sons, Jeff Davidson, of Asheboro, Gary Davidson, of Archdale, Charlie Davidson and wife Tammie, of Greensboro; sister, Faye Lucas and husband Danny, of Liberty; grandchildren, Britney Rush, Josh Rush, Brad Oakes, Jeffery Davidson, Donnita Brown, Tiffany Davidson, Gary Davidson Jr., Jordan Johnson; and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
