Claire Casale

Claire Anne Stahl Casale, 80, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Alpine Health and Rehabilitation in Asheboro.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Charles Moses officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born on October 4, 1945, in Williamsport, PA, Mrs. Casale was the daughter of the late J. Henry Stahl and Lillie Ray Stahl. She was an industrious woman who was very creative and had a giving spirit. Donating to many different causes made her the happiest. She was a hard worker and had retired from AVS. Mrs. Casale was a devoted Christian and practically raised in the Baptist church. Family was the most important to her and was always supportive of all of them as well as others.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Casale was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Burgess, and her sister, Lillie Mae Hunsucker.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jeffrey Cagle of the home; son, Fred Watkins, Jr. (Angie) of Pittsboro; sister, Grace LeVan of Charlotte; brother, J. Henry Stahl (Marie) of South Williamsport, PA; grandchildren, Tyler Austin Wright, Katelyn Watkins, Jessica Watkins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Ridge Funeral Home.
