Christy Lee York

Christy Lee Edmondson York, 40, of Franklinville, died Friday, December 25, 2020, at her home. Christy was born on October 8, 1980, in Guilford County. She was a homemaker and a caregiver. She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her dogs. She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Jean Woodell Edmondson; and daughter, Madison York. She is survived by her husband, Christopher James York of the home; daughters, Maranda York and fiancé Bradley Cox. Makenna York of the home; father, Harold Lloyd "Eddie" Edmondson, of Franklinville; sister, Angela Dawn Harmon of Ohio; and brother, Jesse Scott "Scottie" Houser and fiancée Melissa Brewer of Asheboro. The body will lie in state from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 1, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home.
