Christopher Travis "Chris" "CT" Long, 46, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Pastor Dallas Street officiating.
A native of Randolph Co., NC, CT was born September 15, 1977, the son of the late Henry and Judy Cox Yates Long. He was a hard worker and a great mechanic, electrician, plumber, and a Jack of all trades. Any job that needed to be done, he'd do it.
CT enjoyed fishing, hard rock and country music, and his truck and cars. He also loved his children, and often said, "If you ever need me, holler."
Survivors include his wife, Tanya Allred Long; daughters, Kayla Michelle Long, Brittany Renee Long; sons, Christopher Travis Long, Jr., Walter Landon Long; sister, Ginger Atkins; brother, Mark Long; niece, Krista Atkins; nephews, James Long, Dakota Long; several great nieces and nephews; and a soon to be grand baby.
The family will receive friends following the service at the home of his mother-in-law, Rosemary Allred.
