Christine Marshall

Christine Cecil Marshall peacefully entered her heavenly home on January 15, 2016, while surrounded by her family. Christine was born to the late Howard and Addie B. Cecil on October 7, 1939 in Montgomery County. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Junior Marshall and was a long time resident of Denton. She is also survived by her son, Johnny Marshall and wife, Tracie; daughter, Judy Marshall; grandchildren, Michael Threatt, Tracy Laney, Cody Ervin, Melissa Marshall, Colton Kimbrell; 11 precious great granchildren; three sisters, Sue, Doris and Grace; brother, Bobby Cecil and many special nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Irene Thompson, brother, Roy Cecil, daughter, Janet Marshall, granddaughter, Kimberly Marshall and niece, Bonnie Gainus. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Denton Civic Center with Rev. Hulon Pait officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family would like to extend a thank you to Donna and the staff at the Village Restaurant for their kindness and to all those who were so generous to our family during this difficult time. We greatly appreciate your prayers, condolences and support. It has been a great comfort to be surrounded by such a caring community.
