Charles Leiber

Charles Lee "Charlie" Leiber, 61, of Seagrove, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016, at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Seagrove with Pastor Josh LeRoy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born February 6, 1955 in Randolph County, Mr. Leiber was the son of the late Harry Leiber Jr. and Fairie Leiber Fore. He was a employed for 38 years with Tram Lumber, formerly Jimmy Ward Hardwoods. Mr. Leiber enjoyed training with Robin Sage and spending time in the outdoors. He loved his animals and also enjoyed wheeling and dealing at flea markets. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Melivn "Slim" Fore. Mr. Leiber is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hill Leiber of the home; daughters, Heather Leiber Clark and husband, Chad of Asheboro, Brittany Leigh Leiber of the home and signficant other Jerry Lee Crabtree of Seagrove; sister, Audrey Bunting and husband, David of Asheboro; brother, Martin Leiber and wife, Linda of Asheboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donnie and Teresa Hill of Asheboro; nieces, Melissa Lester, Savannah Lester, Emily Harless and husband, Ben, Jennifer Hagen and husband, Josh; and great niece, Jasmine. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
