Charles Brown

Charles William Brown, Jr., 93, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. A private memorial service will be held. A native of Clarion, PA, Mr. Brown was born February 4, 1926, the son of the late Charles W. Brown, Sr., and Ester Small Brown. He enjoyed making furniture and stained glass which has been sold all over the world. He had served in the US Navy during World War II as a coxswain on a LST. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Brown. Surviving are his daughters, Leah Lamotte-Kerr and husband Robert of Farmington, NY, SueAnn Walker and husband Robert of Asheboro; sons, William Brown and wife Donna of Tucson, AZ, Charles Brown III and wife Missy of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Jean Howell Dundee of NY; grandchildren, Robert, Christian, Jason, Colin, Meredith, Samantha, Geoffery, Charles IV, Alec, Perri; great grandchildren, Desmond, and Elise.
