Charles "Buster" Blackwell

Charles Edward "Buster" Blackwell, 71, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. A private memorial service will be held. A native of California, Mr. Blackwell was born March 13, 1944 to the late Clarence and Betty Blackwell. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. Mr. Blackwell had served in the US Marine Corp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Clarence E. Blackwell. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Margaret Blackwell; daughters, Betty Blackwell, Tina Blackwell, both of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Geneva Smith, Betty Ashworth, Margaret Sands, Sandra Alvey, all of Riderwood, WA, Inez Brader, of Buckley, WA, Judy Fallgreen, of Vader, WA; brother, David Blackwell, of Carbonado, WA; grandchildren, Brian Allred, Kristin Stewart, Coty Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Davin Allred, Kaylee Stewart, Chloe Blackwell; and step great-granddaughter, Jada Staples.
