Charles Thomas Barefoot

Mr. Charles Thomas Barefoot, 71, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Faron Overton and Rev. Garland Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Harnett County, NC, Mr. Barefoot was born July 31, 1940. He was the son of the late Tommy Barefoot and Effie Luther Barefoot. Mr. Barefoot is survived by nephew, Johnny Parnell, wife Patty, of Asheboro, great nephews, Rodney Parnell, Scottie Parnell; great-great nieces and nephew, Destiny Parnell, Waylon Parnell and Harley Parnell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Glenn & Patty Parnell, 6491 King Mountain Road, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Harvest Field Baptist Church, 8405 Pisgah Covered Bridge Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
