Chad Morgan

Chad Morgan, 39, of Asheboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington, after a valiant fight with cancer. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Seagrove with Rev. Howard Moffit and Rev. Maurice Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Moore County, Chad was born September 8, 1975 to Frank and Thelma Britt Morgan. He was a 1993 graduate of North Moore High School and a devoted employee of Amerigas. Chad was of the baptist faith and he loved to hunt, fish and travel with his family. A devoted father, husband, son, uncle, brother and friend, Chad loved his family dearly. Chad is survived by his wife, Linda Morgan of the home; daughter, Sophie Morgan of the home; son, Kyle Morgan of the home; his parents, Thelma and Frank Morgan of Seagrove; sisters, Sherry Ritter (Jeff) of Robbins, Brittany Roberti (Mike) of Asheboro; brothers, Stephen Morgan (Lisa Davie) of Seagrove, Jonathan Morgan (Robyn Ann) of Jacksonville, FL, and David Morgan of Seagrove. He is also survived by his in-laws, Roger and Angela Cockman of Robbins; brother-in-law, Jordan Cockman of Asheboro; and sister-in-law, Courtney Pratt of Asheboro. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Roger and Angela Cockman.
