Chad King

Chad Anthony King, 19, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Panther's Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, NC, Chad was born September 2, 1993. He was the son of Ronnie and Bonnie Lisa Kern King, of the home. Chad had a free spirit. He loved everything about nature from raising turkeys to climbing trees. He also loved Books-A-Million, playing games, hanging out with his friends and reading the Bible. He shared a strong belief in Yeshua. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Arlene King, and great grandparents, Tim and Irene Kern and Roy Beane. Chad, in addition to his parents, is survived by his sisters, Faith King, of the home, Patricia Pecorella, of Asheboro, NC; maternal grandparents, Michael and Nancy Kern, of Asheboro, NC, paternal grandfather, Paul King, of Asheboro, NC and great grandmother, Ruby Beane, of Star, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, July 15, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister at 2630 West Gate Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205. Chad will always be remembered for the delight in his smile, the joy in his laughter and the beauty we all found in his soul. Chad, we will always love you!
