Cathy Denny

Cathy Louise Denny, 66, of Sophia, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A private burial will be held at Randolph Memorial Park. Born September 11, 1950 in Guilford County, Mrs. Denny was the daughter of the late Herman Jones and Dorothy "Dot" Jones Cook. She was a graduate of Randleman High School and worked at Arrow International. Mrs. Denny was a member of Caraway Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Yates; sister, Linda Gilmore; and grandson, Matthew Yates. Mrs. Denny is survived by her husband, Mitchell Denny of the home; daughter, Lori Y. Hill and husband, Charles of Sophia; brother, Charles Jones of Asheboro; sister, Sharon Whaley of Holly Ridge, NC; grandchildren, Tara Hill, Miranda Hill, Brandon Hill; and great-grandchild, Kiley Hill.
