Carrie Staley

Carrie Rebecca Sanders Staley, 87, of Asheboro, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 22, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Claudie Harrison and Rev. Brian Cole. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Staley was born December 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Herbert and Martha Chriscoe Sanders. She was a retired beautician and had worked at Robbins Mill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Staley was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Dean Staley. Mrs. Staley is survived by her husband, Albert Bud Staley, of the home; sons, Burnice Staley and wife, Hazel, Jeffrey Dean Staley, all of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Fleta Ritter and husband, Fletcher, of Robbins, NC, Lucy Hunt, of Asheboro, NC, Geneva Cervantes, of Troy, NC; brothers, Fred Lee Sanders, J.C. Sanders and wife, Carol, all of Seagrove, NC; grandchild, Cynthia Annette Staley, of Asheboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Ridge Funeral Home, Asheboro, NC.
