Carolyn Jean Owens, a native of High Point, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 8, 2016. Carolyn was a loving mother and a devoted wife. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending quality time with them. Carolyn enjoyed trips to the beach and she loved Christmas time festivities. Even though her physical restraints kept her at home later in life, she maintained her feisty spirit and witty nature. She was loved by many and will missed by all. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Little; sister, Wanda Little; and her eldest son, Scotty Cooke. Survivors include husband, Mike Owens of Randleman; sons, Bobby Cooke and wife, Julie of Archdale, Terry Cooke of High Point; daughter, Yauna Owens of Ramseur; daughter-in-law, Sharon Brown Cooke of Asheboro; stepsister, Lisa Turner of Thomasville; brothers, Terry Little of High Point and Gerald Little and wife, Shelby of High Point; grandchildren, Tiffany Cooke, Tyler Cooke, Elijah Cooke, Isaac Dove, Caleb Dove, Hannah Dove, Jaeden Owens, Caelyn Owens, Kyndall Owens ; great-grandson, Brayden Aaron Adams-Dove. A memorial service will be held in honor of Carolyn's life here on earth, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Worthville Baptist Church in Randleman at 6:00 p.m. Visitation with the family immediately following the service.
