Carol was born on April 18, 1949, in Ashe County, NC, the daughter of the late Martin Lee Wyatt, Sr. and Bonnie Blanche Parton. She had a knack for creating things and a willingness to tackle just about anything.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Martin Wyatt, Jr. and Freddy Wyatt, and her sister, Betty Lyalls.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Overby; son, Lonnie Wilson; brothers, Roger Wyatt and Kenneth Wyatt (Sandy); grandson, Bryson Garrison; and Bryson's mother, Lequita Garrison.
