Carol Munden

Carol Ann Radford Munden, 74, of Randleman, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2016, at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Derrick Moody officiating. Born July 13, 1941 in Johnston County, Mrs. Munden was the daughter of the late Andrew Earl Radford and Dolly Radford Wadsworth. She graduated from Princton High School and was a member of Balfour Baptist Church. Mrs. Munden was retired from General Dynamics and did contract service work for Insight Global. She was a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. She loved the beach, gardening, her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Munden was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Radford, John Quincy (J.Q.) Radford, Earl Radford and Ben Wadsworth. She is survived by her daughters, Dollie Daughtry, Debra Hill (David) both of Randleman; sons, Richard Daughtry (Donna) of Smithfield, Junior Munden of Level Cross; sisters, Virginia "Bab" Shelton of Goodman, MO, Judy Bell of Winston-Salem; brothers, Bill Radford (Mary Alice) of Branson, MO, Andrew "Winkle" Radford (Betty) of Newton Grove; grandchildren, Samantha Queen (Jakob) of Randleman, Kaleb Hilliard of Randleman, Lauren Daughtry of Smithfield, Benjamin Daughtry of Smithfield and Marissa Hill of Randleman; great-grandson, Cooper Queen; and loving dog, Daisy. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to PruittHealth Hospice, 301 S.
