Carol Hammonds

Mrs. Carol Jeanne Albright Hammonds, 68, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. A private gathering will be held by the family. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Hammonds was born August 28, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Nathan William Albright and Lynette Mattie Ferree Albright. She was retired from Sara Lee and was a member of Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Hammonds is survived by her husband, James Hammonds, Sr., of the home; son, James Hammonds, Jr., of Asheboro, NC, sisters, Barbara Walker and husband, Odell, of Ramseur, NC, Chloe Sink and husband, Mike, of Trinity, NC, Kathy Allen and husband, Rickey, of Trinity, NC, Bonnie Edwards, of Siler City, NC, Doris Welborn and husband, Renay, of Franklinville, NC, Donna Rex and husband, Leonard, of Garner, NC; brothers, Michael Albright and wife, Deborah, of Asheboro, NC, Lawrence Albright and wife, Sandra, of Ramseur, NC, Stuart Albright and wife, Jamie, of Ramseur, NC. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
