Carmen Grey Martindale-Palacio, age 39, of Randleman, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Powers officiating. Carmen lived in Asheboro for most of her life. She was a homemaker and always taking care of the ones she loved. Carmen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. She gave her heart and love to all she met. She attended Gate City Church of God in Greensboro. Carmen was preceded in death by her son, Shane Singletary. She is survived by her husband, Margarito Palacio of the home; children, Devin Martindale and wife, Chasity, of Asheboro, Destiny Holt and husband, Brandon, of Liberty, Austin and Zachary Singletary, both of the home; mother, Phyllis Handy Swaney of Asheboro; father, Billy Grey Martindale and wife, Debbie, of Randleman; sisters, Mendy Swaney of Asheboro, Alicia Lawson and husband, Steve, of Randleman, Billi Elvington and husband, Brandon, of Asheboro, Nina Albright and husband, Mark, of Seagrove; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
