Carlene H. Ingram

Mrs. Carlene Elizabeth Humble Ingram, 83, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 pm Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Hilltop Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Ingram was born January 31, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Walter Edgar Humble and Neudy Ethel Brewer Humble. She was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church and was retired from Rampon Products. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, William Milton Ingram. Mrs. Ingram is survived by her daughters, Wanda "Sally" Williams and husband, Gus, of Hickory, NC, Dorothy "Josie" Auman and husband, Farrell, of Seagrove, NC, Debbie York and husband, Tim, of Salem, VA; sons, Norman Ingram and wife, Kathy of Nashville, GA, Milton Ingram and wife, Susie "Rita", of Ramseur, NC; sister, Oneta Ballentine, of Asheboro, NC; brother, Harvey Humble, of Asheboro, NC; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Milton and Rita Ingram, 7685 US Highway 64 East, Ramseur, NC.
