Calvin Dean Williams

Calvin Dean Williams, 69, of Sophia, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at High Point Medical Center in High Point.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, with Pastor Joe Farlow officiating.

Born in Buncombe County, NC on May 20, 1957, Calvin was the son of the late O.V. and Norma Jean Davis Williams. He retired from Energizer and was a member of Berean Memorial Baptist Church in Sophia. Calvin enjoyed traveling to the mountains.

In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Williams; and his sister, Roma Martin.

He is survived by his brother, Albert Williams (Sharon) of Sophia.
