Callie Hussey King

Callie Beatrice Hussey King, 88, of Seagrove, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her home. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Asbury Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove with Rev. L.H. Parks officiating. A native of Moore County, Mrs. King was born December 11, 1926 to the late Alfred and Lida Lucas Hussey. She enjoyed working as a custodian at Seagrove Elementary School for 39 years and raising her nine children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Junior King. Mrs. King is survived by her daughters, Hazel Vest, Judy Luck (Larry), Susan C. Brooks, Beverly King; sons, Larry J. King, Glenn King (Karen), Gary King, sisters, Rebecca Hare, Betty Hunt; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
