Caleb L. Lowry

Mr. Caleb Lee Lowry, 33, of 6915 New Center Church Road, Seagrove, NC, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Randolph Hospital Inc. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Lowry was born October 5, 1976, the son of Frank and Sharon Poole Lowry. He was a 1995 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School where he ran cross-country and track, and was a Governor's School Scholar. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He loved basketball, his horse, Flame, and his dogs, Zoe and Friday. Mr. Lowry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward Lee Poole and Annie "Nani" Reeder Poole Chriscoe, paternal grandfather, Harold Lowry, and his beloved paternal great grandmother, Emma "Granny" Gray. Survivors include his parents, Frank & Sharon Poole Lowry, of the home; paternal grandmother, Louise Jones; sister, Stacey-Anne Lowry Hussey, and husband, James Eldon Hussey; niece, Emma Grace Hussey; nephews, Samuel Lee Hussey and Gabriel Lawrence Hussey. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 3 until 4 pm on Tuesday and other times at the home.
