Mr. Burnic Daniel Wilson, Sr., 67, of Denton, NC, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, May 2, 2014, at Totally Committed Ministries with Pastor Jeff Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Wilson was born June 19, 1946. He was the son of the late Charlie Dude Wilson and Iona Mozelle Brown Wilson. Mr. Wilson enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping and gardening. He was a true outdoorsman. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson, of the home, daughter, Tenna Nicholson, and husband, Gary, of Denton, NC; sons, Daniel Wilson, and wife, Bonnie, of Denton, NC, Gene Wilson, and wife, Angela, of Denton, NC; sisters, Josephine McPherson, of Asheboro, NC, Lorene Holt, of Franklinville, NC, Illa Hunt, of Mt. Gilead, NC, Barbara Pierce, of Asheboro, NC; brother, Tommy Wilson, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Robbie, Paige, Patrick, Tyler, Emily, Danielle, Annette, Shannon, Charity, and Amber; great grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Isaiah, Allexis, Benjamin, Daniel, Christopher, Morgan, Mattie, Robert; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Totally Committed Ministries and other times at the home.
