B.T. White

Mr. Belvin Thurman "B.T." White, 81, of 2660 Forest Park Drive, Randleman, NC, died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the home of his son and surrounded by his family. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Deanna Lindquist and Reggie Jones. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro with military honors to be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Davidson County, NC, Mr. White was born December 28, 1929. He was the son of the late Rufus White and Bertha Wood White. Mr. White was retired from the High Point Police Department after 32 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Beeson White, a son, Rodney Dale White, a great granddaughter, Melissa Cox, and sisters, Adelaide Allen and Frances Goins. Mr. White served in the US Air Force during World War II. Mr. White is survived by his daughters, Beverly Rose Hunt, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Alicia Marie Al-Shemmari, of Kuwait, Tracie Leigh Jones, of Greensboro, NC, Misty Renee Markle, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Ricky Dean White, of High Point, NC, Barry Thurman White, of Lewisville; sisters, Virginia Johnson, of High Point, NC, Joyce McMahan, of Silver Valley, NC, grandchildren, Deanna Lindquist, Jeri Lynn Cox, Kimberly Eisman, Brandon White, Anthony Hunt, Amira Al-Shemmari, Saud Al-Shemmari, Morgan Jones, Matthew Markle, Jeremy Markle, Zachery Jones, Ali Al-Shemmari, MaKayla Markle; great grandchildren, Corey Edwards, Courtney Cox, Brittney Eisman, Christopher Michalic, Tommy Cox, Haley Cox, Ali (Louie) Al-Shemmari, Emma Lindquist, Bradley Michalic, Hamoody Al-Shemmari, Reem Al-Shemmari, Deziree Robinson; great great grandchildren, Aaron Nelson, Alexis Charles, Aaliyah McFadden and Kyra Zarko. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home.
