Bruce Darrell Winslow

Bruce Darrell Winslow, 69, of Asheboro, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Oakhurst Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born in Randolph County, on November 2, 1940, Mr. Winslow was the son of the late Dink and Hazel Winslow. He retired from Black & Decker after 26 years of service. He was an active member of Oakhurst Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. Surviving are his wife, Frances Winslow, of the home; daughter, Karen Winslow Griffith and husband, Blake, of Christiansburg, VA; son, Bruce Winslow and wife, Angie, of Asheboro; sister, Dorothy "Dot"� Ridge, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Taylor Griffith, Gray Griffith, Logan Winslow and Ross Winslow. The family will receive friends at Oakhurst Baptist Church from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 and other times at the home.
